What's the first film that you ever remember seeing in theaters?

For me, Disney's Aladdin (1992). Came out just shortly after I turned 4 years old, apparently.

@Poppies Your reply actually brings back a memory of a certain stage of childhood for me.

I was in the 6th grade when I went to the theater to watch that movie. I was at an age where I saw myself as too old for "little kid cartoons", but it was OK to go to this one because it was a more "sophisticated" cartoon, with grown-up sounding dialog!

@DrWatson The second movie I saw in a theater was Charade, with Cary Grant and Audrey Hepburn. I really wasn't ready to get much out of that one, but I think my parents just didn't want to get a sitter, so they took me along and I managed to sit quietly.

@Poppies My parents once took me to The King and I. I crawled under the seat in the theater and went to sleep!

@DrWatson Gum, candy, soda, popcorn! Sounds like a delightful place to sleep! 😄

@Poppies Apparently I gave the accommodations (as opposed to the movie) a 5 star rating!
