Does anyone remember watching the show "ER" ?

It’s airing on an oldies channel. I’d forgotten what a great show it was, and how it was a launch pad for actors who became superstars…
Even the intro theme was one of the most dynamic of its time.

I've never been able to get into medical shows like ER, scrubs, House, or Grey's anatomy, etc.
There are a ton of cool medical shows out there.
I've enjoyed episodes here and there. but I can't watch every episode, season after season.

@Scribbles I'm the same. I enjoyed House but the plots are very complicated. I never got into Grey's Anatomy. Scrubs is just silly.
@Scribbles i have a bit of a thing for medical shows.
I watch almost all of them....i loved house, grey's anatomy (although not so much now) , the good doctor, new amsterdam (but not after dr kapoor left), the resident

@InOtterWords Doc Martin is very good.
@Jacko1971 Yes ! It is. Martin Clunes plays such a complicated character beautifully.

@Jacko1971 My parents watch Doc Martin! I've seen an episode of the first season of it. It was pretty good. He's kind of an adorable grumpy old man, isn't he? I kind of liked the idea of the character having to get used to being a doctor all over again

@InOtterWords that's cool. My thing that I get into are documentaries or travel shows.
@Jacko1971 Yes he is. I’ve seen him interviewed and he’s so warm, friendly and animated—total opposite of Dr. Ellingham’s personality. 😄
