This is well done and as noted, the film is Peter Jackson's tribute to the 1933 original. I have the bluray and always watch the directors cut with added scenes.
As with any movie, you can find things that don't always make sense, but hey, it is a movie. When Kong is fighting off several TRexs at once, that was a bit of a stretch for me. Kong is great, but....
The other was the scene with Anne on the frozen pond. It's a touching scene, but really....the army/police that have been fighting him suddenly lose track of something as big as Kong?
