It's from my youth so neither the acting nor the storylines are that well polished but I think it could have a cult following. Of course you'll recognise the theme tune:

@GeniUs I remember that from first time around. A very young Neil Morrissey is in that I believe.

@Jacko1971 Not in the first episodes I'm part through series 1 (there are only 2 series of 8 available ATM so I guess they are waiting to see how many people view it), even the Central logo made me feel nostalgic. Morrisey comes in later but I don't know when.

@Jacko1971 I remember watching it back in the day and thinking it was another version of 'Minder' but he's already been beaten up more times than won fights!
Worth watching just to see the topics of the times, 'racism' seems to be a big one. The basic premise is Boon is retired from the fire service through injury and advertises his services 'will do anything legal' replies to Box 13 (boxes I don't know if that's still a thing!) I feel like emulating him just to see what jobs come in!
