@JJones Well what about the Fugitive Doctor? How come they're not on there eh eh? This cannon timeline number system you're using is a flipping disgrace!!!
Look how angry Peter C is with you!!!👀 LOLZ!😆
Haha I'm joking I'm joking, I mean I totally get why Peter Cushing's human Doctor who made the Tardis in his own back garden isn't in anyway cannon.
But yeah with all these non numbered Doctors and now Doctors regenerating into previous versions of themselves (like is Tennant the 10th and 14th?) it's getting a little confusing.
And don't get me wrong I totally understand the number cannon system you've used and why the War Doctor gets included wedged in between the 8th and 9th because his timeline and backstory have now been explained while the Fugitive Doctors hasn't so yeah I'm just having a bit of a laugh with it really x 乂º◡º乂
@AdaXI Been a while since I've seen a Doctor Who fan who has this much knowledge, you know your stuff, respect 👍
Yeah it is getting confusing, honestly I don't remember who the fugitive Doctor is
Tennant is probably counting as 14th as well. My thory is that this new regeneration cycle the Doctor got from 11th's regeneration from Galifrey is just glitchy from the way he got it, but maybe there is just no real reasoning behind this stuff
@JJones The Fugitive Doctor has turned up in a few recent episodes although you might not have realised she's the Doctor...
Basically I think the idea is she comes before the original Doctor and that Doctor Who has actually had countless regeneration's even before William Hartnell but they don't remember (if you remember the previous Doctor put something in the Tardis which has her memories in it) but the story plot has yet to play out but the general thinking is the black woman is a version of the Doctor that is before the Doctor can even remember ie she's before the 1st Doctor. 乂º◡º乂
@JJones And what I just said isn't set in stone, although the Fugative Doctor is definitely a version of the Doctor it just we don't really know where they fit in on the time line yet. So the idea they're the first might be scraped when it comes to making the next series and they end up being a version in between or in an alternate reality or whatever because it's Doctor Who they can do whatever they want LOLZ!. 乂^◡^乂
However you look at it, it just doesn't make sense, for example if the Doctor had countless regenerations, why did they a need a new regeneration cycle after the 11th. The fugitive Doctor is the biggest plot hole in Doctor Who and I'd really like that whole thing to be retconned. It doesn't respect the story, it changes things way too much. You can't just change 60 years of built up story like that. We know who the Doctor is, they really need to stop changing things just for the sake of change. If it's not broken don't fix it
@JJones I love the fugitive Doctor's personality and wish they'd give her her own season!
That said, I'm kind of disappointed at how regenerating has become such the main part of the plot line of late, when it was originally just an "in universe" way to explain a new actor taking the role (I guess I'm glad they didn't do that with James Bond or Batman)
