Do you sneak food in when you go to the Movies?

I do all the time. I will bring a bag in, it will have sandwiches, M&Ms and bottle of Dandelion and Burdock. I mean, end of the day you have paid for the ticket. Why should you have to buy their overpriced food?

I used to work in a movie theatre. The theatre itlself only makes 10% off the ticket sales. The rest goes to the movie company. We make out money off the candy sales.
On a second run film we can make 25 to 50% off the tickets. (Start wars)
Once a film is in the theatre for 6 weeks I believe the theatre gets 15 to 20% depending on how the film is doing.

@Confined So you know they have to make a bottom line like everyone else.Personally,I would never sneak food into a movie theater;it would just be RUDE,you know?For me,its like going to any other form of entertainment-if I can't afford to go,I don't go.

@Confined I know of one that has a full bar and restaurant on it's second floor.And it has private boxes you can get to see movies in private;you can even get your food sent there!(All for a fee,of course!)

@Confined The one I go to is called the Horizon.Its a chain,but a smaller,local chain.I like it because its close to where I live and it's more down-to-earth,even though it's still nice.The AMC chain has a bar and is much bigger,but I dont go because it has more of a chain "feel",you know?The one with the full bar and restaurant is called the Cinemark.Ive never actually been,but I was given the full tour by an usher,and it is impressive.
