Do you consider Leon the Professional to be like Lolita?

I saw that someone had compared them together and I kind of see why they assumed it but it's completely different.

no, even in the European version with the extra 27 minutes, they cut that scene before it went too far. There were some tones towards that, Portman said she always thought of it as a love story.

I can see where they are coming from but in this case Leon never did actually want that with Mathilda - instead he was more of an older brother/father-ish kind of character
