It’s curious how few Americans are in American films these days.

They’re all Canadians, Brits and Aussies. Can’t Americans act anymore?

Blame the U.S. laws.
It's cheaper for production companies to film in Canada rather than the U.S. so that's where a lot of filming (and casting) happens, even if the film is supposed to be set in the U.S.
