What movie makes you cry like a little b!t(h?

White God. It's about a dog that is forced away from the girl after she couldn't keep it and you see what the dog goes through from its point of view, which was very sad. The movie has a sort of dog rebellion too (not a spoiler because it's in the trailer.)

I loved it but made me sad. You see sort of like something taken over the original dog, who was loving and all encompassing but reminds us of how trauma reacts in a primitive way which can also relate to humans.

Then there's Mirrormask, a Neil Gaiman movie. It's about a girl who gets lost in like a dystopian universe and gets kidnapped by an evil queen but also has a parallel story about her mom in the other universe being really sick/going to the hospital. Which struck a nerve with me because my mom had a brain tumor when she was younger and at the time, no operation to really stave it off.

Marrowbone, originally a psychological horror and normally wouldn't put it in the sad category but the ending is so sad.

I had to watch Forrest Gump didn't I, and it's sadder to think that the little kid has the AIDS and will probably die pretty young. Poor old Forrest.
