Anyone else think it's kind of BS that in the Disney movie Beauty and the Beast the prince has to find true love before he turns 21?

Wow he's so maudlin about being a beast and acts like it's this ancient curse that he's been suffering for so long that he's lost all hope. But actually he's a teen living in a castle with hundreds of servants.
