Which do you prefer, the old B & Ws or the newer movies?

The oldies have the virtues of being well made and acted. They have stronger stories and way more professionalism. Though the new ones do know how to entertain too, even if they sacrifice story for excitement.

There's some very good modern movies with strong stories but they fly under the radar. Just like a lot of the old ones did in their time!

Never forget that people thought Citizen Kane was shit and Kubrick made a huge mistake with 2001. In 50 years no one will talk about all the blockbusters of today. They will talk about Parasite and Manchester by the Sea
