My epic ordering splurge is coming to an end with just 3 left to arrive!!
The last bona-fide classic masterpiece directed by American luminary Paul Schrader, arriving in a little over 12 hours from when i type now
12 Shaw Brothers movies, next in this genre will be 88 Films' Asian collection, it's hilariously entertaining to see movies with non stop meticulously choreographed fighting.
and the last of the 70's Fukusaku's released from Arrow, he's so far my most watched director this year
4 months of paying off the debt
June
July
August
September
In October i can get more, including some classics by Kurosawa from Criterion and many more, but until then i must be pleased and enjoy to the hilt what was gotten recently, and the larger thing of all the other Asian films like from Kore-eda, Kitano, Wong Kar Wai, the 2 Lino Brocka films from Philippines. And then larger still in temporal scope the subtitled movies, Blu-ray and DVD.
My collection, which a few months ago i thought was dead is alive and well, infinite thanks to the continent of ASIA, and the good folks at American and British physical media distributors who sell the goods. If you are a collector, i say collect on, never before has there been as many good stuff to get as now. It will not last for too much longer, get em while you can.
