@Burnley123 The only way not to be a materialist is to not be here in the first place and that's probably not recommended for obvious reasons. You go get some clothes? Materialism, oh you should go naked because anything else is materialism. Want to read? You have to "buy" books right? You're a materialist. The only true people who aren't materialists are people who either opt not to be here anymore (not recommended,) or they watch paint dry and literally do nothing else.

@Burnley123 I'm sure there's some good themes buried under all the flare and imagery. But the movies are just so bright and cluttery that I want to swat it away.

@caPnAhab Absolutely. Some if them are decent but I can't get to care about the characters. The Avengers movies especially are so overblown they approach Michael Bay levels. More stars, bigger battles, more CGI, more explosions...

Yawn.

Maybe this is dumb of me but the movies sort of push me off because I think they're obnoxious lol
