Would you ever not watch a film because the main star is a dick irl?

Top Gun was one of my favourite films as a kid but I’m loosing interest in the sequel knowing that Tom Cruise is a bit of prick, what with his tantrums, delaying the movie release until the lock downs ended so he could milk every penny out of his audience and the Scientology crap.

Yes. I don’t watch new movies since 2017. When actors become political and Woke, I no longer watch. It spoils my enjoyment, and most of the rubbish that comes out these days is the Woke lecturing the rest of us.

As I haven’t seen every movie that was released in the past 5-years, I can’t say all of them are Woke, but the actors that I would normally go watch have become political and Woke. @WintaTheAngle
