Is there anyway to stream channel the way they were streamed some years ag

@MightyLion Again, where? Ads are not the same everywhere. They change, for the same broadcast, based on where you live and your TV provider.

Assuming they all keep accurate electronic records as well as accurate video copies of what was broadcast, as well as all the commercials, then yes, but this is not the case.

@Northwest you mean where as in what region I am looking for the recordings of the channel? Florida, US

National TV stations, go through local station for distribution. There are some commercials that air nationally, but most advertising is done at the local level on a day-to-day basis.

You will get different commercials, based on where you live.

Today, it can be narrowed down to the neighborhood, and pretty soon, it will be narrowed down to your level, just like Facebook does today.

So, yes, the same channel. Let's say you're watching the evening ABC news, you will get different commercials in your Florida home, that are different from the commercials someone gets in their Boise, Idaho home.
