I have the devils own on standby

Devil's Own is a decent plot but is slower paced.
Taking Lives - with Ethan Hawke, might compare to Seven, or The Bone Collector.

Otherwise try:

Population Zero - 2015 Duane Murray, Catherine Fitch

Richard Jewell 2019 - Directed by Clint Eastwood

The Lighthouse 2019 - Robert Pattison, William Dafoe

Counterpart - tv Series on Starz or elsewhere - J.K Simmons 2018
