This isn’t really a “halloween” movie specifically, but my favorite horror movie is “The Witch”.

@Killer it seems to be a polarizing movie. Most people I’ve talked with either love it or hate it. There’s some disturbing material, but it’s mostly implied, leaving the gruesome bits to your imagination.
