I wish I knew more diehard Doctor Who people

Please don't use this as a space to bash the idea of a female Dr. Who.

I have no issue with the sex or age of the actors playing the Dr, but I haven't been able to watch the last few series because the writing has been appalling, often juvenile.
And I know it's never been a serious adult show, but there's definitely been a steady decline since Russel T. Davies left.
