Who likes titanic movie 1997?

SW-User
Yeah it was good. Really brought that disaster back to life in a big way.

Ive prob seen it 30 times by now. never gets old for me. When I first saw it i was in a
relatnsp and in love with someone else who I couldn’t be with but was trying to move forward anyway. So the plot resonated with me a lot.

But for me it also brought the titanic to life. I’d only ever seen wreckage in photos but to see a moving functioning replica on a set to me was just fascinating like touring it myself. Ive since read many books about what eventually happened to the people who survived, to White Star Line too, and visited the resting place of all the people who were found but never claimed or identified in Halifax Nova Scotia. It’s inspired a research hobby in me I guess you could say.

I watched about 20 minutes of it. Might be the worst movie I've ever seen. Other than Hillbillys in a Haunted House (1967), which I did get all the way through. And, yeah, they did misspell "hillbillies".

Most people like it. It's a classic at this point I would say. I liked it way back then. Haven't seen it in years. I was moderately obsessed with Titanic related stuff when I was younger plus ya know Leonardo way back then was so cute.
