Any movie recommendations...

@BlueMetalChick I get that. I’m open to anything, and hoping someone will suggest a movie I wouldn’t have thought of...like Snowpiercer below.

@Ghostinthemachine Well since you said it's snowy and cold, you should watch one of my favorite movies of all time which takes place in the very snowy cold location of Antarctica. John Carpenter's "The Thing" from 1982.

@BlueMetalChick That’s one of my favorite films from the 80s, seen it many times but have been meaning to check it out again for it’s been years. Want to show my kids haha

Have you seen the original “The Thing From Another World”?
Or the remake from a few years ago (spoiler: it’s not a remake)

@Ghostinthemachine Indeed, and fairly recently too. A friend sent me a copy of the original novel "Who Goes There?" that the first movie was based on, so I had to watch the film as well.

If you've already seen that one, then another suggestion I'll make is another horror film, "It Follows" from 2014. It's very weird, but I love it.

And my daughter and I are always looking for horror films to watch together , so will check that one out!

I watched a film on the weekend with mine that had some inappropriate scenes that seemed to end just before I hit the “stop” button on the remote.
