@Glambarber There are always nine of these agents. So far, there have been four different 008s over the course of the franchise. When one is killed or retires, someone else replaced them in the lineup.

@Glambarber It is not the way of things in Fleming’s fictional MI6. There was a 007 before Bond took up that number, and there will be one after.

@NativeOregonian I thought so, too. But there was an outcry from both sides of the “pond”, including Rush Limbaugh, with [b]his[/b] racist arse. Ian Fleming’s been gone since 1964, so most of the stories after that are being told by someone else, anyway.
