Did anyone watch the movie "The Hole In The Ground" and actually find it even slightly scary?

Wondering because I watched it with my dad last night. We both were waiting for it to get scary since it's supposedly the "scariest movie of the year" but not once did we ever feel even the littlest bit of scared from it.

Either we're not normal or that movie was severely over-hyped.
