Favorite TV game shows?

I have been a TV game show enthusiast/viewer since June of 1972, when I was seven years and three months of age.

The first shows I watched-and enjoyed-were the original NBC M-F daytime and syndicated weekly nighttime versions of "The Hollywood Squares," hosted by legendary emcee/song & dance man Peter Marshall. :)

The primary appeal of the show was the facetious "answers" (pre-written by the show's writers) that the celebrity panelists would give in response to a question posed by Peter Marshall; then, the celebrities would give serious answers, to which one of the two contestants would say "I agree," or "I disagree."

Cool! I remember the facetious sarcasm of the emcees. :)

@YourMomsSecretCrush Same here-the various versions that have aired since July, 1976-and hosted by Richard Dawson, Ray Combs, Louie Anderson, Richard Karn, John O'Hurley, and-since September, 2010-Steve Harvey. :)
Only Connect.BBC 2.

Did you watch the reboot of Squares from the early 2000's?

@uncalled4 Yes, I did-it was hosted by Tom Bergeron, and aired M-F in first-run syndication from 1998 to 2004); additonally-the version hosted by John Davidson (1986-1990); Jon Bauman-October, 1983 to July 1984); and the original, hosted by Peter Marshall (1966-1981). :)
