Filming in black and white was actually an art form in itself, it took skill and creativity (example: the red fake blood in Hitchcock's Psycho didn't look right on film so they actually used chocolate syrup). Black and white is classic and colorizing them to appeal to modern audiences just ruins them in me opinion.
