I don't know why they changed the original dark version, it was not what I expected .. I found it boring.

On a grading scale, I give it a C-. I don't know what I hated more, Leto's Joker, or the oddly unsexy villainess.

Maybe because Jared Leto is well-known? But tbh honest I predered El Diablo. I was disappointed, that Joker didn't get much of screen time. So I agree with it...
