I read the first book and watched maybe 1/2 the movies.
It’s a waste of time. Annoying pre-teen/teens in a verbose (and terribly boring) story.

@SW-User Yeah, no thanks.
Mildreadful · F
@SW-User the first book isn’t really great compared to the rest of them. They get a lot better and the movies don’t reflect that ;-;
SW-User
@Mildreadful they are just too long to take the chance it might be better.
Fernie · F
No, there IS a small group of you...we are working on dropping you all off on some island away from us civilized folk
SW-User
@Fernie OK!!! Then I could swim every day!
Fernie · F
😂@SW-User Wait! I forgot who I was talking to...you would LOVE to be dropped onto an island!!!!

@RodneyTrotter Hi! I vaguely remember seeing Star Wars at the theater when it was released in 76' or 77'. I was only six or seven though.
Zaphod42 · 46-50, M
If it makes ya feel any better, I've never seen any of the Game Of Thrones episodes.
SW-User
@Zaphod42 I haven't either!
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
It has a certain appeal for certain age groups. I read all books and saw all movies but I am almost sure that I wouldn't find them so interesting at this age.
Vetrov · 61-69, M
Plus l have never watched GOT.
Don’t even know what the opening credits are

SW-User
@Vetrov :) Nor have I.
SW-User
I'm reporting this offensive material.
SW-User
@SW-User 😂
SW-User
No. I am the same way and I can't stand how glorified it is :v
Groofydorkgerdo · 56-60, M
I tried, wasnt for me, never watched more than 15 minutes of one.
EnglandsAnswer · 31-35, M
You should give them a go :)
SW-User
@EnglandsAnswer Not sure I'm interested. Suppose it wouldn't hurt to try.
I got through the first three books and maybe two of the movies and had to stop. Just wasn't my thing and there was too much hype around it all.
Keepitsimple · 51-55, F
I’ve never seen it or had any interest even when my kids were growing up.
SW-User
@Keepitsimple Me either.
Mildreadful · F
Yes, get out from that cave 😒😂 you are really missing out
SW-User
@Mildreadful So I've heard.
MrsKatherineArch · 41-45, F
No, I’m sure there are a lot.
SW-User
@MrsKatherineArch There are so many references made to the movies/books and of course I never get them.
MrsKatherineArch · 41-45, F
@SW-User You could always read them. Or watch the movies. They are good books/movies.
SW-User
@MrsKatherineArch I may give it a go one of these days :)
SW-User
Never seen or read a book.My father considered it witchcraft😔
Nimbus · M
Awww, I know how you feel as I have never seen The Simpsons.
Thevy29 · 41-45, M
You have my pity.
SW-User
@Thevy29 Is it that wonderful?
Thevy29 · 41-45, M
Well I was the same age as Harry when the first book came out.. So I guess I'm kind of biased. The movies don't do the books justice though.@SW-User
SW-User
@Thevy29 Ahhhh, I can see the appeal for you.
SW-User
no, well I saw part of one of the movies.. but nothing else
Jamminjimbo · M
That makes two of us. 🤣
SW-User
@Jamminjimbo Good! I just have never been interested.
Jamminjimbo · M
