I have been a fan of Pennywise and Jack Torrance since I was dumb kid reading my dad's Stephen King novels, under my blankets with a flashlight.
Hikurai · 41-45, M
@PlumBerries yes, I think you are right. Most horror movies are just really lame these days. I did like the Conjuring though.
PlumBerries · 31-35, F
yeah they really are. The conjuring was alright :)
Hikurai · 41-45, M
I am more into demonic stories than ghost stories... maybe that is because of my religious upbringing.

Littlelegskate · 26-30, F
I have never met anyone else who liked ginger snaps! My respect for you is now through the roof!
Littlelegskate · 26-30, F
Message me after you’ve watched and let me know if you managed to spot him @PlumBerries
PlumBerries · 31-35, F
I will do that for sure. I will watch it like a hawk lol
funfan · 46-50, M
@Littlelegskate Ginger Snaps has a loyal (and well-deserved) fanbase, although it's exactly not my demographic. 😆
Serenitree · F
My two favourites were cars. One was a movie called The Car. And the other was called The Wraith.
Serenitree · F
@PlumBerries I saw a movie called The French Connection. I watched for two reasons. One was the star of the movie and the other was that car. The car was being used to transport drugs, and when the Drug Enforcement Agency finally got their hands on it, the tore it apart looking for the drugs. I cried while they did that. It was like watching someone disassemble ......... well, a beautiful car, I guess. But more emotional. It was like it was my car they were destroying.
PlumBerries · 31-35, F
lol awwwww that sounds like a sad moment especially if you are a big car lover
Serenitree · F
@PlumBerries Just that car. I swore I'd get rich and own a Lincoln Continental. It never happened.

Captain Spaulding is a great character, lol....I loved him in House of 1000 Corpses. I think his dialogue on the DVD menu might have been even better than his dialogue in the movie.

Here's a couple of mine:

PlumBerries · 31-35, F
nope I have fantastic taste :P
SW-User
@PlumBerries So modest too 🙄😂
PlumBerries · 31-35, F

@Random1Thoughts taught my 6 year old the freddy song and now she won't stop singing it!
@JaggedLittlePill
Imagine her singing it at night with a little voice when visitors are around. 😂
PlumBerries · 31-35, F
haha that is awesome as
Elegy · 46-50
The ones that look normal because they are the more realistic version.

PlumBerries · 31-35, F
@Elegy Hannibal Lecter.. nice
funfan · 46-50, M
@Elegy Ahhh...but not the original Hannibal. Do you know who originally played him? Hint: He ain't English. XD
Elegy · 46-50
Brian Cox, I did not remember that movie.
UpsideOutInsideDown · 36-40, M
Those are two films (well, Devils Rejects and Ginger Snaps) I watched at like 2am, drunk or high or something. They were both a bit of a blur...which did help make them a bit more intense. Think my favourite character would be the first zombie you see in the original Night of the Living Dead. That dude was freaky
PlumBerries · 31-35, F
@UpsideOutInsideDown lol damn you should watch them again if it is a bit of a blur now lol

I vaguely remember the first zombie, I will have to check that out now :)
UpsideOutInsideDown · 36-40, M
@PlumBerries You definitely should. It's completely copyright free, so plenty of versions up on YouTube :)

I probably should get to them. Sadly my list of films is growing a bit out of control these days
PlumBerries · 31-35, F
I own the movie, so I will just watch it again.. I am a huge collector of horror dvds, so I have my own private dvd store now lol.

lol I know what you mean
what's the matter kid, dontcha like clowns?
PlumBerries · 31-35, F
@DuchessOfMapleSyrup favourite part of the movie
Intissima · F
I loved horror movies not so much now lol I’m easily frightened.
But my most recent fav was The Conjuring. Really good old Haunted house movie.
PlumBerries · 31-35, F
@Intissima god I would give anything to be scared from horror movies again lol.. made them so much better.. The conjuring was pretty cool definitely considering it is a newish horror movie :)
Intissima · F
@PlumBerries these days a good comedy movie is pretty frightening.
Movies that thrill 🤔
Have you watched The Room that’s a pretty good one.
You will be confused and frightened afterwards.
PlumBerries · 31-35, F
omg I watched it once and I was emotionally exhausted after it.. I loved the movie but I could never watch it again despite owning the dvd
That movie where they were in space and the main characters friend was begging them to let him into the ship. But his friend was sitting next to him. Or maybe that was a story I was told.
PlumBerries · 31-35, F
@ManicPixieDreamBoy that does sound somewhat familiar.. I first thought of "life" or the new predator movie.. im sure that isn't right though
SW-User
I'm waiting for the nun to come out.
PlumBerries · 31-35, F
damn you should share what is going on, I would love to hear about it sometime
SW-User
@PlumBerries Okay, I'm writing down stories related to it too. I'd share them sometimes. My ex is a witch. She's the one who introduced me to all this. She opened up something with all the little knowledge she had back then and couldn't reverse the wheel back. Things went down the messy lane, now it's stable, but the presence of the unknown and the unfound is still felt.
PlumBerries · 31-35, F
damn sounds pretty intense
Thevy29 · 41-45, M

That horrible nasty awful Ouisa!
PlumBerries · 31-35, F
ohhh I haven't seen it. so its really good?
Thevy29 · 41-45, M
Its not a horror flick. Sorry about that I was being sardonic when I posted it. But as a chick flick. Its one of the greats. @PlumBerries
PlumBerries · 31-35, F
well im all about chick flicks aswell lol, I will check it out
Belladonna · 41-45, F

Belladonna · 41-45, F
@PlumBerries I adore him. :)
PlumBerries · 31-35, F
as do I :)
and it will be awesome to see him as Otis again in Three From Hell
Starbursteffect · 51-55, F
PlumBerries · 31-35, F
what other movie had a car in it as a character?
Serenitree · F
@PlumBerries The Car. The Wraith. Actually there have been several over the years, and a couple of movies with possessed trucks.
PlumBerries · 31-35, F
@Serenitree I need to look more into those. Are they as good as Christine?
jackson55 · M
Has to be the creature in Alien. He ate almost everyone.
PlumBerries · 31-35, F
@jackson55 oh nice one
SW-User
The old western guy from “the frighteners.”
PlumBerries · 31-35, F

funfan · 46-50, M

RasHorror · 36-40, M
Michael Myers
JaggedLittlePill · 46-50, F
P.s. have you seen The Strangers? If not that is a must see.
PlumBerries · 31-35, F
I might have seen that. I will check on that and if not I will watch it for sure, thanks :)
Serenitree · F
@PlumBerries I don't know if you'd forget seeing it, although, I frequently forget the title, for some strange reason. I never forget the acting. I think it was Robert Downey Jr's best. Followed by Chaplin. He's good in all, but those two were my favourites. An early movie of his was great acting, but too painful to ever watch a second time. Less Than Zero was a movie about addiction and the things addicts will do to get their next fix. He was simply too good....too believable as Julian.
PlumBerries · 31-35, F
I have seen less than zero, I know that lol.. I forget movie titles a lot. once I look it up Im dsure if I have seen it I will remember right away

JaggedLittlePill · 46-50, F
Jason Vorhees. As cheesy as those movies were they were the scariest shit around. I have watched horror films aince a very young age.
PlumBerries · 31-35, F
@JaggedLittlePill the second Friday the 13th was one of the very first horrors I ever seen and Jason terrified me.. I was really young when I seen it.. good memories and a excellent choice :)
corny is great in horror btw lol
MartinTheFirst · 26-30, M
@PlumBerries ive never heard about the ones you listed either 🤷
PlumBerries · 31-35, F
that's fair enough
