Who is your favourite Horror character?

horror movies are just amazing and sure there are a lot of crappy ones but when you find some good horror movies, they are like the most fun to watch. also horror fans are awesome, so if there are horror conventions around you, go to them lol
anyway my fav would either be Captain Spaulding from "House of 1000 corpses" and ""the devils rejects... and soon to be "Three from hell".

or Ginger from "Ginger Snaps", "Ginger snaps 2" and "Ginger Snaps Back"

I have been a fan of Pennywise and Jack Torrance since I was dumb kid reading my dad's Stephen King novels, under my blankets with a flashlight.

@Hikurai Pennywise is great. do you prefer the original pennywise or the just recently remade pennywise?
Hikurai · 41-45, M
@PlumBerries I like both Pennywises for different reasons. Curry just fits in really weied roles (i.e. Rocky Horror Picture Show). Skarsgard does amazing things with his eyes (believe it or not, his deviations were not CGI). However, my favorite Pennywise is from the book. He was a lot funnier and exceptionally vulgar. The scene with bum (Pennywise), in the old house... they left out the part where the bum begs to give Bill a blow job for a nickel. Stephen Kings' books are always way more vulgar and just all around messier than the movies.

yeah and the sexual stuff with Beverly.. kind of glad they left that stuff out of the movie lol

Oh absolutely! I wouldn't have watched the movie but I knew they cut it out because I researched. That part made me uncomfortable as an 10-year-old reading the story but even more uncomfortable reading it again as an adult. I just skipped it. 😂

I have read the book and its great but im just glad it wasn't in a movie because I don't wanna see that type of stuff from kids of all people lol
Hikurai · 41-45, M
@PlumBerries I know, right? Especially now, I have kids of my own, preteens too. I like Stephen King but sometimes he goes over the edge but I have to respect he isn't afraid to push the envelope.

(Got more balls than me, in writing)

yeah he umm gets a bit over the top sexual wise. but I guess people enjoy that aspect to his writing lol.. I just want the gore and scares lol
Hikurai · 41-45, M
Yes! Gores and scares! But I don't get scared anymore 😔. I laughed in the theaters when I watched the new IT. People looked at me like I was stupid but it was a funny movie. One guy said to me, "oh, you laugh when you get nervous or scared?" I said, "no, I laugh when things are funny." He left me alone. 😂 the funniest part was when Pennywise came out of the projector screen, in my opinion. I could not stop laughing, it was so stupid lol.
PlumBerries · 31-35, F
lol I liked that part of the movie 😳
Hikurai · 41-45, M
Lol sorry... it was just so cheesy to me. Now, I liked when the hair was moving and slowly revealing Pennywise's face but then big version of him coming out... I was, "why?"
PlumBerries · 31-35, F
cheesy is sooooo good though
Hikurai · 41-45, M
Damnit you are right! Army of Darkness is one of my favorite movies along with the Toxic Avenger. I am so sad 😂
PlumBerries · 31-35, F
horror and cheesy are a perfect combination. its when horrors take themselves too seriously that it suffers i think
Hikurai · 41-45, M
@PlumBerries yes, I think you are right. Most horror movies are just really lame these days. I did like the Conjuring though.
PlumBerries · 31-35, F
yeah they really are. The conjuring was alright :)

I am more into demonic stories than ghost stories... maybe that is because of my religious upbringing.
