Do you think Jaws will ever get a some sort of Hollywood reboot?

The shark may not have looked as real as CGI would've made it look....but the technology they had at the time and used was remarkable and it worked well enough to make a good story...it should be left alone. I for one am sick of all of these "reboots" coming out theses days. For the main reason that it's rare that they actually turn out as good as the original let alone better, in fact it often just ruins a classic. It also shows that there is very little original talent left in Hollywood to come up with something new. If they want to touch on a classic then take a clue from Tim Burton....When he did Planet of the Apes, he said it wasn't a remake, that it was a retelling of the story and that is exactly what it was. It stood on it's own without taking anything away from the original(s).

I hope not. The original is a classic. Doesn't matter if the shark doesn't look very real at some points. BTW I watched Solo the other day, and it surprised me that even that had some dodgy CGI that looked obviously fake!

That was epic in its time , when Jaws came out in NYC no one went swimming at Jones beach that summer , true fact , if they do recreate it it would have to be mind boggling!!
