Is Fantastic Beasts and where to find them" worth the watch?

I've never seen the harry potter series and I'm not interested in them. I've only seen these trailers and it looked interesting to me. Worth the watch?

Yes I really enjoyed it. Different vibe from the HP series and it was interesting to see that time period in the US with HP stuff on top.
