No I didn't like it. Story wise it was a mess. Some of the themes were well done, but some of them were handled so badly it ruins the movie. And space does't behave like space in the movie. They open an air lock to hard vacuum and nothing happens. But it would have been OK without that pants crappingly stupid casino detour. The producers want to push their agenda, fine. It's their movie, they can. But it was so ham fisted and moronic. They could replace the whole casino story line with 30 seconds of a rich guy beating a puppy and it would have the same emotional and plot impact as that 20 minutes. I've seen political messaging in movies done well. I still don't like it but last jedi was genuinely insulting to my intelligence.

@Davidarendale0 the casino part was needed in the movie. Without it they couldn't have got on that ship if I remember right.

@smileylovesgaming but getting on the ship didn't do anything. They just got caught. And they could have gone anywhere to get Benicio Deltoro. It didn't have to be rich duech planet.

@Davidarendale0 if space acted like space there would be no sound affects in the space battles.
