I Love Movies
I'd say that Kubrick and Peter Weir are my favorite film directors. On the other hand, i believe David Fincher is overrated: didn't like Fight Club nor Gone Girl.

Kubrick is the only director whose work I follow. He was utterly brilliant. His films were exquisitely nuanced. He understood that society was a thin veneer over the savagery and greed of mankind. Eyes Wide Shut was his final commentary on this

I have seen Kubrick's [i]2001[/i] a few months ago. I was fascinated, but didn't unterstand the movie, especially the end. Maybe I'm too young for that kind of film...
