Was there anyone else who hoped that the TV show Lost was going to be about everyday people going tribal and turning cannibal on an Island?

Because I was sorely disappointed!!! What a bunch of boring rubbish that damn stupid show turned out to be!

Yeah, I was hoping in Survivor they were just going to ditch a bunch of people on an island with nothing and then come back in a year to see who's still alive.
