What is the greatest movie of all time?

@katielass Well made yes! I happen to not like Vivian Lee's performance. Clark Gable was awesome, though.

@SW-User What did you not like about her performance? I thought she was perfect, and by far one of the most beautiful women ever born.

@katielass Let me think about that. She was brilliant at playing Scarlet.
I guess in the end I really don't care for Scarlet O'Hara. So spoiled!

@SW-User Well yeah, she was a spoiled brat. But in the end she learned some humility.

@katielass Right! She did go a little coo-coo. I haven't seen it in years. Might be worth another viewing.

@SW-User I watch it about once a year. Of course I don't sit right in front of the TV every time cause I pretty much know exactly what's going to happen but still. I;m a fan of old movies and there are a few that I like to watch over and over, not too soon but I keep them on my DVR. A really funny one is Christmas in Connecticut.

@SW-User Barbara Stanwyck and she is fabulous. A bunch of others who were popular at the time. She plays a magazine columnist who has been pretending to be this great wife, mother and homemaker and suddenly her boss demands she invite this war hero out to her farm for Christmas. It's hilarious how she tries to keep her secret. That's all I'll say so I won't spoil it. I ever knew Miss Stanwyck was so funny. I've liked her in dramatic roles. TCM will show it closer to Christmas.

@SW-User I love the old movies. Another one I recommend is the Bishops Wife. Cary Grant is an angel in that one and it's a good story.

@katielass I have seen that one -- it's really good. Cary Grant can do comedy, drama, be kind, appear dangerous. Not too hard in the eyes, either.
