Are you patient with survey people and charity collectors who stop you in the street.

I try to be but sometimes polite no’s just don’t deliver.

If I see them lining me up for their pitch I speak first...with faux sign language. Just a few movements with your hand. Usually just get a nod there after. 🤷‍♀️

I have no time for charity chuggers.
Especially large national or international charities.

Endless begging for causes that charitable donations haven’t cured in twenty years is probably a sign it’s failing and needs new thinking.

I’m polite but hurry on

They usually only bother us while we are shopping in Malls, or places with a public venue. I am always patient if stopped, but I am also not shy in telling them if I am not interested.
Ambroseguy80 · 51-55, M
It’s gotten to the point that I am usually abrupt with them - my time is too valuable to be wasted on something I know usually isn’t what I need.
bowman81 · M
No. I try to ignore them and walk on by. If they follow and pester me I will raise my voice and tell them to back off.

They are getting paid to do that... Better to share directly, at least you know there's no middlemen taking a cut
Aquatic1 · F
To begin with unless I’m not interested and they’re insistent.
Viper · M
I simply don't stop... and might say "no thank you" or something.
Senecaa · 70-79, M
Yes I am. They're usually dolng a helpful job.
Darkskiescoming · 51-55, M
Just say not interested and move on.
