I think you can get arrested for even joking about joining ISIS. And FBI watches this site.

What is it, specifically, that you hate about society? And, as a corollary, why can you not change it?

I think the society wants or grooms ppl not to be weak, but to act 'strong' at all times, tough, and competitive...it's just not human to be 'on' like we think we need to 24/7...it pushes us further AWAY sometimes 😟@SaladTosser

@SaladTosser Society is what people make it be, and that includes both of us. There are plenty of things that I dislike about our current society as well, but the only option that doesn't make the problem worse is, I think, working on changing the area around you as best you can.
You don't like consumerism? Don't buy things that you don't need, get rid of excess items, and when you do make purchases, be an informed buyer so you understand the corporate practices and the supply chain behind your product.
As for the others, I think that society is also about give and take. I know that a society based on me and my perceptions of the world would be radically different from one based on you and so on - the key is, as my mother always says, to "cooperate and graduate". You don't have to be weak and fearful, you don't have to live a joyless life - those are at least partially decisions that you make. So long as you don't hurt others, there's no reason why you shouldn't enjoy yourself as best you can, or learn to be strong.
