@dale74 That's why the whole world waged war against those deadly killers. I've seen pictures of Berlin and Hamburg; all in ruins, the cities were essentially flattened. I can't find any evidence of a genocide accusation against the allies.

I missed the part of history, where the allies declared that there will be no ceasefire until the SS is exterminated. Hell some of them ran NASA and landed us on the moon.

Simply pointing out the absurdity of this argument of yours, that's all.

Not to mention that while insisting on Germany's unconditional surrender, the US also insisted to keep Germany's middle management in place, and only lob off a few heads at the top, and sending a few to jail. One of the reasons why we did not eliminating and instead used them to help transition Germany to democracy.

We failed everywhere else, where we insisted on tossing the baby out with the bath water.

The members of the Teheran conference (1943) stated that there will be no negotiations with Nazi Germany, and the war will go on until there's an unconditional surrender of the Nazi criminals.
But, of course, fighting against Nazi Germany is genocidal...
