@LeopoldBloom From the 1967 Arab/Israeli war Until 2005 Israel built a number of illegal Settlements across the strip in violation of international law. The population of Gaza was placed under a crippling military occupation with ongoing curfews And restrictions of movements similar to the current situation of the West Bank. In 2003, Following the second intifada Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon Proposed a policy of disengagement From Gaza Which involved dismantling 25 settlements and 9000 Israeli settlers were relocated with a compensation. It was represented to the national community as a token of of “goodwill” by Israel However it was sold to Israelis as something else. In 2004, Ariel Sharon’s senior advisor Dov weisglass Told Haaretz newspaper: “The significance of the disengagement plan is the freezing of the peace process and when you freeze that process you prevent the establishment of a Palestinian state and you prevent the discussion on the refugees , the boarders and Jerusalem. Effectively, this whole package called the Palestinian state , with all it entails , has been removed indefinitely from our agenda “ After this disengagement , Sharon focused on tightening the control over East Jerusalem and the West Bank and rapidly escaped settlement construction. A year later when Hamas got into power Israel imposed an air, sea and land blockade on Gaza Cutting it from all kind of access from the outside world And creating what British prime minister David Cameron (and endless journalists human right organizations etc ) would later describe as the worlds largest open air prison. And illegal occupation. That blockade has continued to exist for 17 years
@StygianKohlrabi There are no two sides There is the colonizer occupier and apartheid enforcer and the other side that has been going through it to this day If you are ignorant it’s not hard to educate yourself And disregarding an ongoing apartheid and occupation Is your problem Your lack of knowledge and research Talking as if you know history Or the brutality of the situation Is embarrassing Don’t comment on things you have no knowledge about
@Moon3624 your opinion of me is meaningless. well if you refuse to see both sides a lot of Palestinians are going to get killed when they incite more violence for a futile cause. 100X more than the Israelis. Then their masters drinking champagne in Qatar laugh at the stupid rubes thinking they're martyrs. You're running SW into the ground with your spam. stop it. genocidal maniac.
@LeopoldBloom Most Jews before the revival of Hebrew didn’t speak Hebrew… Just because Egyptians speak Arabic doesn’t mean they are not the decedents of ancient Egyptians
@Moon3624 At least you didn't accuse European Jews of being "Khazars" or other nonsense. I also notice that you didn't mention Mizrahi Jews who comprise the majority of Israelis.
