So glad I resigned my commission decades ago.

A young enlisted man was badly injured in Afghanistan and now suffers with long term disability and PTSD. He went to Veterans Affairs for help and was offered medically assisted suicide. He is not suicidal. He has issues that are the direct result of his service to his country. Some gratitude VA showed him.

What is his name?

@stratosranger Why would I post his name on SW? It is on all the Canadian media outlets. Maybe you could google it.
So you don’t want to mention the name of someone who is all over Canadian media or post a link. Um, OK 🙄@hippyjoe1955

@stratosranger The Canadian media is not releasing his name either. No point in re-victimizing him. Good grief but you are thick.
Post a link or shut up @hippyjoe1955

@stratosranger Type MAIDs offerer to Canadian Vet. You do know how to run a search engine don't you? I did a while ago and Global had the story. Go ahead give it a try. You might be amazed at what you learn.

@stratosranger I don't post links so as not to be blamed with being biased. If you want the information do a quick search. If not you just showed you integrity. It is nonexistent. Run along. You have made a big enough fool of yourself tonight.
@hippyjoe1955 You don’t know how. End of story. Good bye

@stratosranger Google is your friend. For once in your life try it.
Stupid? Already looked it up. No mention of Afghanistan. You got it wrong. Again. Post the link or shut up. @hippyjoe1955

@stratosranger Oh so you found the article. Amazing. You are right Global did not mention Afghanistan. Not that the theater he fought in is important in comparison to some government flunky telling the vet to off himself. Do try to keep things in perspective.

@stratosranger BTW in another article by Global you can find this little gem
Although post-traumatic stress and other mental health impacts have always been a side effect of military service, traumatic brain injuries have been called a “signature injury” for veterans of the Afghanistan and Iraq conflicts due to the high number of improvised explosive devices (IEDs) used, including roadside bombs.
Skuttlebut on the street among the vets has it that the injury occured in Afghanistan. So that kind of makes you a three time loser. Demanding a name that was not given, Denying the media report until you found it and now the connection to Afghanistan. Sadly it would seem the only one being dishonest on this thread was you. Kind of sad that you would want to play 'gotcha' over a vet's suffering but it is kind of funny that only you were got. Next time grab a clue. I don't post lies.
