I Have Obsessive-compulsive Tendencies But Not Ocd

I’ve never been diagnosed, but since I was younger everyone i met, especially my friends told me I had the tendencies of someone who has OCD. I do things in repetition all the time, and I’m obsessed with cleaning, I clean my house at least 6 times a day. And when I arrange things it has to be in my certain order, and no other order. I don’t know, I have always been like this, when I was in elementary, my classmates thought I was weird or strange because I rearranged my colors when I was going to use them from lighter colors to darker, and if I was going to let somebody use them other than myslef, they had to do the same, only one at a time, then when they were done with one, they had to put it back in place, and make sure it wasn’t unsymmetrical or I wouldn’t let them take another one. Nevertheless, nobody ever asked me to use my things. I still do these things, when I write, I only use 3 pencils, and they always have to be exact same size, if I sharpen one, I have to sharpen the rest.
Please tell me other people do this too. 😂😕

Do you also get straight A's? Would a B be then end of the world?
OCD is OK, you can use it to your advantage, just so long as you understand it and can also laugh about it. My son has OCD (and a Math PHD).

If it doesn't make you stressed or anxious, it's not really a full-blown OCD. But, OCDs tend to get worse with time.

Hmmm...Sabrina, that all definitely sounds like OCD but I am no doctor though. 😂 No worries however as it's harmless. :)

You are not alone.
It's not hard to change but it requires a skilled therapist or preferably an analyst who can help you find the cause.
