Narcissism seems

To be very common is America’s “right “ party. I know some very compassionate people who vote that way but the majority of those politicians and voters are Narcissistic. They attack you and insult you if you say anything against them. Even when lately there is no honest defense for 95% of them and there behavior.

“1. The habit of admiring yourself to much, especially your appearance. 2. A condition in which somebody is only interested in themselves and what they want, and has a strong need to be admired and a lack of understanding of other people’s feelings”. Number 2 is the clinical definition from Oxford’s dictionary. “When someone puts their own name on urban dictionary saying how great they are”. That comes from you guessed it from urban dictionary. As a psychological student 👨‍🎓 I would paraphrase by saying “a grossly inflated sense of self-worth and self-admiration that, eclipses the need and inclusion of others which when challenged turns to insults and can be violent. “ I might have misused paraphrase. Trump doesn’t win 2020 so he invited a dangerous mob to attack the capital, what’s that?

@Greyjedi Narcissus was a figure from Greek mythology. He was a handsome young man that loved his image. He had no idea what to do but he became obsessed with an image. Obama is just such a character. He wanted the image of being president but really had no idea what to do once he got there. In order to maintain his image he was easily influenced to do 'great things' such as Obamacare. Notice the name Obama there? The fact is that narcissism is not limited to a left or right political point of view.

@hippyjoe1955 You may be right that both parties have narcissists as candidates but you are wrong that that “Obamacare” is an indication of the man being a narcissist. It was called that first by his supporters before he accepted the change from “affordable care act” to “Obamacare”
