I just want to give a plug in for good ol' vitamin B12.

I take three of these everyday and boy do they really enhance your mood. But you must get the sublingual kind and cherry flavor from Walmart, that melt under your tongue. They tastes great. If you haven't tried them, you really should, and you'll see a big difference I believe. These even helped me tremendously in a time when I went through grieving. They really make a huge difference.

Vitamin B12 is essential for producing serotonin and dopamine, which are key neurotransmitters that regulate mood. If you were previously deficient, supplementation can significantly improve energy, focus, and emotional stability. While studies on B12 as a standalone antidepressant are mixed, it is widely recognized as a vital nutrient for nervous system health and preventing symptoms like irritability and low mood.

There are two kinds of Vitamin B’s. The kind that starts with “cyano” is not the good kind. I have been getting the kind that starts with “methylated”, it is the safer type.

@cherokeepatti That is really useful information. I didn't know that. Thank you, Patti.

I take B12 daily too. My doctor recommended it.
Take a b complex vit instead its a myth that getting one b vit up to crazy 1,00000s DVs is healthier and its not
@TryingtoLava Ah ok.. you do this a lot. 🤣
@Magicianzini yupp i do pocket doc
B12 is carcinogenic if taken daily on a continual basis. The exception is during pregnancy. It should be discontinued after giving birth.

Edit: For clarity

I give myself b12 shots every two weeks. Everyone is different, but I don’t think it affects me as it should. The only change I notice is pain in one area calms. When it hurts again, it’s my reminder to do the next shot.

@MellyMel22 I'm sorry to hear you have to take the shots. 🫂

@LadyGrace Thank you. It’s okay though, quite simple. I just don’t absorb the supplements, so that’s why I get the shots.

@MellyMel22 I'm sorry to hear that hun.
