I Have Epilepsy

Well, tomorrows the big day! I go back up to Stanford to have the chip that was implanted last month turned on. For the last few weeks, the chip has been getting to know my brain and it's activities. While everything is there, the stimulators just haven't been turned on yet. Now, it's time. People ask "are you ready" Yeah, I guess I'm ready. I'm excited, yet nervous, as I guess anyone in my position would be. If this will keep my seizures from hitting, I will be very happy. It would be nice to be able to say I'm seizure free, thanks to this wonderful chip in my head. Here we go!

@Peaches Thank you. In a month, I'll go back to have the amperage turned up. It's not doing much right now, on the one amp, but that's all they wanted to start with. Still dealing with seizures, as expected, as they told me to be patient with it. Hopefully, things will get better as it's adjusted. We will soon find a happy medium. xo
