I Have Epilepsy

Well, tomorrows the big day! I go back up to Stanford to have the chip that was implanted last month turned on. For the last few weeks, the chip has been getting to know my brain and it's activities. While everything is there, the stimulators just haven't been turned on yet. Now, it's time. People ask "are you ready" Yeah, I guess I'm ready. I'm excited, yet nervous, as I guess anyone in my position would be. If this will keep my seizures from hitting, I will be very happy. It would be nice to be able to say I'm seizure free, thanks to this wonderful chip in my head. Here we go!

Stanford is about as smart a place as you'd find anywhere; I have a good feeling about this.

I was one of the first people to get the lasik procedure many years ago. Yesterday, even after having had cataract surgery, at nearly 74 years old, I easily passed the DMV vision test. May you have similar success with your own procedure.

@greenmountaingal Thank you!! Yes, Stanford is amazing. After two years of testing, I feel good about it as well. From everything I've heard and seen, I feel better than I have in 40 years. Even friends and customers are seeing it within me. I had the chip implanted on Feb. 6th, and came out with my heart knowing it was successful. I'm looking so forward to being able to drive myself to work for the first time. xo
