I Have Epilepsy

Well tomorrow Should be an interesting day as we get to drive back up to Stanford University/hospital to discuss the next move and whether or not to do surgery, and if so, what kind. I am thinking I'd rather have a removable chip implanted than laserly remove something that can't be put back. And I certainly don't want to lose any more of my memory that I already have. Definitely can't expect to put that back.

Nerves are within, along with subdued excitement not knowing just what to expect. Here I go again.

Thank you for taking the time to reply. Meds wise I'm now on kepra and lamotrigene but I know it's The case of finding The right cocktail to take. (The kepra was added after seizures I had a couple of years back put me in resus just in case following a few grand mals in the space of an hour)

Seizure wise I'm now on my 6th absence type one this year 😣 but not had a grand mal in 2 years since meds were changed ☺

If it helps on memory I found it really helpful being given a literal memory box by my wife where things from trips e.g. rail tickets, a pass from a place visited could be kept. Looking back over them later helped me to remember things I'd forgotten.

Hope things go ok at the appointment and likewise all the best.
