I Have Epilepsy

Well tomorrow Should be an interesting day as we get to drive back up to Stanford University/hospital to discuss the next move and whether or not to do surgery, and if so, what kind. I am thinking I'd rather have a removable chip implanted than laserly remove something that can't be put back. And I certainly don't want to lose any more of my memory that I already have. Definitely can't expect to put that back.

Nerves are within, along with subdued excitement not knowing just what to expect. Here I go again.

Keppra worked well for me for. 5 years until the pharmacy decided to switch me over to a generic form of it, so watch out for that. I am now taking Vimpat and Lamotrigine together. The combo has worked the best for me.

Unfortunately everyone is different in what works for who. I wish I could advise you as to what works best, but I can't. I've been through all kinds of testing and I'm sure you have as well. If you take an EEG be sure it's not just for an hour or so. That was my problem. I didn't have a seizure during. This last test lasted 4 days as they waited. Until the seizure happened. That showed them a lot. I wish you the best!!
