I Can'T Get Past Depression

My whole body is starting to feel numb the more I process he's gone... I know I shouldn't allow one guy to tear me down but when you care you can't help this feeling.. I'm depressed and I don't know how to get over it.
Everyone's suggestions about getting a new guy just seems miserable because I'll be stuck in this state of mind and just hurt others and that's not what I want.. I just want him to realize he needs me during this break, but that probably won't be the case.

There is no greater pain than a broken heart. But please remember its not the end you will love even more and deeper whether its your ex or a new love.

Comfortable is not love. Its easy. I hope you guys can get back together but love is an adventure. Don't close your heart to a great adventure

@Mhello thank you.. but not comfortable in a bad settling way, he actually got me to leave my house and stuff... I don't like people very much and I'm more of a stay bottled up in home type of person due to my social anxiety and he just always made me feel safe.
