I've also had depression and anxiety for years, and hope is honestly the last thing I can count on. Sometimes there just isn't a cure. The best thing you can do to give yourself a fighting chance is to trick your brain into getting less unbalanced.

Get some sunlight to raise your dopamine levels or exercise in order to generate endorphins. Maybe start writing or listening to music to lower any stress that can be worsening your problems. They're by no means a solution. They're bandaids on a gaping wound. But maybe, just maybe, they can stop the bleeding long enough for you to get yourself on a path to wellness
