Well, once you die you wont wake up. You're here for an incredibly short time until you die. Then you're dead forever unless you believe in a God. I feel like we, as humans, cannot fully grasp the concept of forever, so we don't fully understand how weird and precious this short life is.

I could post a joke answer, but seriously? I'm not sure that I can give you a good reason, except to say that there is probably someone out there that cares for you and doesn't want you to die.

I stopped cutting like two months ago but I'm so lonely, I'm stuck at home, all my friends are away at college, I just have no sense of purpose, and I've got a buncha regrets. Nightime is the worst cus that's when all the negative feelings get stronger.
same thing happened when all my buds went off to uni, ended up in a bad place not knowing what to do with myself. I started a new course, met someone and it went from there (didn't end well). Just gotta give yourself purpose, i sat around feeling bad but it took going through that for so long to actually realise nobody else is gonna make stuff happen for me, gotta do that yourself.
