Support worker took offence to me leaving the door open

I'm a grown woman and through my experience how i was raised you don't speak to men your not dating with closed doors.
No honey we have that door wide open, thats my boundary that's for MY safety.

Because why does it need to be closed?🤷‍♀
We can talk freely with it open.
This is protocol for the opposite gender.
Not judgment of you specifically as an individual.


He said it's more private with the door closed and i said "dont worry about the door i assure you we can speak freely here"
He moaned on about it coming off like i think all men are creeps.
I told him "This is just what I'm comfortable with, this is my boundary as a woman, I expect you to meet me here or else this meeting isn't happening. "
And he still was making it about him and saying I'm dramatic🙄
And i just went silent😑
Because i just told you MY BOUNDARY🤷‍♀ so im confused as to why we are discussing and trying to negotiate MY BOUNDARIES 🤷‍♂
There was absolutely nothing to discuss further and we ended up having the meeting anyways, with the door open.

He was trying to make it about him and all this personal shit and it just wasn't even that 🤷‍♂
I'm in tune with myself and my boundaries, your just simply not gonna argue with me on that, i don't care who you are🤷‍♀
